Founded by Dr. Marie Charles in 2001, the International Center for Equal Healthcare Access (ICEHA) is a nonprofit organization that engages experienced healthcare professionals to rapidly improve the clinical skills of colleagues in resource-poor countries through the use of innovative methods of mentoring. The Center is based in New York City and is governed by boards of directors in both the United States and the United Kingdom. These boards oversee all activities of the organization and provide strategic, programmatic, legal, and financial direction.
