Marxism

Marxism is the system of social and political theory about human life, historical development, the capitalist crisis, and the communist revolution developed by the German philosopher and economist Karl Marx along with his close friend and supporter Friedrich Engels during the middle and late 19th century and subsequently elaborated by their disciples from various backgrounds all over the world. Although there are inconsistencies and contradictions in Marx's theory during the different periods of its development, and there are considerable debates and disputes over its nature and structure, some basic consensus can be reached based on the analysis of Marx's works and studies on the subsequent evolution of the theory.
