Lead Soldiers

The term lead soldiers is often applied to a variety of types of figurine, not all of which are wholly made of lead. The word soldier here commonly refers to all sorts of military figures, including such things as knights and cowboys. Lead soldiers are used for a variety of purposes: as toys, for use in various types of games with formal rules, and as decorative pieces.
