The game of Password has been around for some time now and became a mainstay in many American households during the 1960s and 1970s. The game was made for television and was created by Bob Stewart. The show was hosted by Allen Ludden. Despite various format changes over the years, and multiple channel changes, the game itself remains largely the same to this day. For the game there are always two teams of two players each, and usually each team has a celebrity contestant.
