The National Council on Crime and Delinquency (NCCD) is a nonprofit organization with the mission of promoting “effective, humane, fair, and economically sound solutions to family, community, and justice problems.” To meet these goals, NCCD conducts research and promotes various criminal justice reform initiatives. These projects are often undertaken with various other public and private organizations. It also works on programs designed to assist in the prevention and reduction of crime and delinquency.
